London

CHAPTER 38

After leaving Capri, we took the train to Rome, where Val and Steve caught a flight back to Colorado, and we jumped on a plane to London- our European home away from home. We only spent a few days there, but packed in quite a list of sites: Parliament, the Churchill War Rooms, the Shard, Tower Bridge, City Hall, Selfridges, Borough Market, the British Museum, the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, Fortnum and Mason, a charity auction night-out put on by Jake’s company (where Kacey ended up with a very nice pink clutch after a generous donation), and Borough Market again. If there is one thing I have learned about London, it’s that you can never get enough of Borough Market. As always, our special thanks to J and J for hosting a pair of road weary travelers and showing us a great time!
