The Isle of Capri

CHAPTER 37

Well, it should come as no surprise that I have come up short in my attempt to catch up on this blog prior to leaving on our next adventure- at least if you have any incline of our current state of affairs, or my previous track record of falling far short of my goals in this particular department. Tide and time wait for no man, as the saying goes, and my time is about up (tomorrow to be exact) and the tide is ripe for sailing… our upcoming adventure aboard the St. Robert will surely prove to be our grandest adventure yet- deserving nothing less than all the attention, photo editing and storytelling skills that I can muster.

And so, with a slightly less than poetic pen, I will abruptly end my telling of the Atlas Expedition, our soon-to-be-widely-recognized legendary trip to Europe and Africa, and basically just drop some pretty massive photo bombs on the blog, since I already edited all the photos, and in truth, I think that is what is most important as far as sharing our story goes anyways.

So, without further ado, the remainder of the Atlas Expedition in three condensed chapters…

Chapter 37: After seeing the smoldering cauldron of Mt. Vesuvius, and eating the world’s best pizza in Naples, we boarded a ferry to the Isle of Capri, spent five glorious days there touring the island, by bus and by scooter, swimming in the clear blue Tyrrhenian Sea, and gorging ourselves on delicious pizza and pasta, always followed by a digestif of limoncello or sambuca. In a word: we’d go back.
