Arcos

CHAPTER 8

Arcos de la Frontera, a place out of a dream. Narrow winding alleys between whitewashed houses lead to expansive vistas. Built on the top of a cliff, and on the front of a war to drive the Moors out of Spain in the 13th century. Aside from some electrical wires strung between buildings, and the sporadic car trying to squeeze around the tight curves of the main, and only, road through town, you would be hard pressed to identify which century, let alone millennia, you were in. An undiscovered gem in the heart of Andalusia, as far as I am concerned. This wasn’t my first visit to Arcos, and I can guarantee it will not be my last.
