Get out your rock hammers

CHAPTER 12

Mt. Cook was only the beginning of our geological adventures in New Zealand.  Cutting back to the coast we stopped at the bizarre and amazing Moeraki Boulders, then on to the insanely picturesque Nugget Point a bit south of Dunedin, and finally a fossilized forest on the wild Catlins Coast, that is only visible when the tide is out.
