Welcome to the South Pole!

I know you have already seen and read quite a bit about the station and its layout in my previous post The Station, but today I would like to invite you on an actual virtual tour of our home away from home… I took the photos for this tour with a special 360° panorama lens that I brought along, but have not had a chance to bust out until a few days ago. After you are finished zooming around the building on the tour, you can take a look at each of the 360° photos on its own. You might need to download and/or allow a Java Script add-on to run on your browser for the tour to work, so just press all the “ok” and “allow this” warning buttons that pop up and you should be good to go.

We’ve so loved following your journeys…both the drive through South America and the sort of crazy few months at the South Pole. Can’t wait to continue to follow along, New Zealand is one of our favorite countries and we love to relive our time there as often as possible! Keep traveling!
